belleEtik is Ireland's first online ethical boutique, selling fabulous women's clothing, which has been produced to the highest quality in studios, cooperatives and small factories around the world, mostly handmade by designers and craftspeople.
belleEtik works with designers and producers who share our passion for beautiful fabrics & great design, but also who are guided by the principals of Fairtrade, proper production and working conditions and respect for the environment. All the companies we work with either produce under Fairtrade conditions (
) or participate in the Ethical Fashion Show in Paris, the first fashion event to bring together designers who have signed up to a charter of good conduct for sourcing and production.
At belleEtik we are aspiring to slow fashion - to provide clothing which looks and feels great, is of high quality, long lasting and many of our items are handmade. We invite you to indulge in cashmeres & silks, soft organic cotton, wools and Irish linen and uncover a passion for texture, craftsmanship, quality, and shapes. Ideally it is about buying less, but investing in quality; adding colour; looking after our clothes and even handwashing. (fair enough the looking after & handwashing - are more often a good intention, but can be very relaxing)
