Alice Moyon - Aliquo

Latin for 'in any direction', Aliquo is the home of variety. In addition to one-off designs created with unique beads from the 1960's, Aliquo's current collection includes many elegant antique brass and Czech glass sparkling pieces, colourful gold and felt necklaces, funky pendants and quirky button rings. Aliquo aims to create unique but very affordable jewellery designs with a little something to make someone feel special. Since starting in Dublin's Loft Market back in October 2007, Aliquo's popularity has grown steadily and her pieces featured in both the Irish Times and the Sunday Independent last month.

LISA SHAWGI

Lisa Shawgi is a knitwear designer of Irish and Egyptian-Sudanese parentage. She spent most of her childhood in the Sudan before moving to Dublin as a young teenager and she often uses the juxtaposition of both of these cultural backgrounds as an inspiration. She graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 2005 and worked for designers such as Lainey Keogh and Vera Wang before beginning to devote all her efforts to her own work.

The creative input of effectively knitting one’s own fabric before setting to work with it is a crucial part of Lisa Shawgi’s decision to specialise in the field of knitwear, and she takes full advantage of her craftsmanship in this area to form her own distinctive style.

The collection on show is inspired by divine elegance.

Different contrasts in textured silk fabric combined with jewel colours gives an elegant and individual style to these hand finished pieces.

Vesper Belle

Vesper Belle, is a clothing label born out of shared ideals of design. Initially the creative threads of inspiration were individually explored during their college graduate days and is now the partnership of Zoe Carney and Lydia Tobin. The essence of Vesper Belle is vintage inspired pieces ,which are handmade, with particular attention to detail and are the expression of sheer femininity.
